Wolf Spiders

Lycosidae, or the wolf spider family, are found throughout the world. They are often 1" long, a gray-brown color with stripes, and hairy.

Spiders in this family will carry their egg sac, and after hatching the young will cowd on to the abdomen. These spiders do not build a web. They are found in fields and forests and may hide under rocks.
