Enallagma
Bluets
Members of the enallagma genus are near 1 1/4" long and have a bright blue color with black markings. Their wings are clear and are held back when resting. Their abdomen is slender and their eyes are large.
Bluets live in ponds and lay their eggs in aquatic plants. Niads, or nymphs, live in the water before becoming adults.
