Conservation Status

Identifying Features

The early meadow rue blooms from April to May. It’s flowers are 1/4" wide. They droop, are clustered, and have yellow anthers. They have four to five sepals.

Early meadow rue leaves are compound, with 3-5 rounded, lobed leaflets.

Habitat & Range

This plant is found in forests and ravines throughout much of the eastern US.
