Identifying Features
The toothed globe snail has a 1" wide, rounded shell witha spiral shape. The outer lip of it’s shel is broadly reflected, and has a denticle, or small projection on the shell surface.
Habitat & Range
They can be found in hardwood forests throughout the Northeastern US and into Michigan and Canada.
Behavior
Toothed globe snails eat decaying plants and fungi.
